Christmas 09

This was Me and Dons first Christmas together, and I didn't even take any pictures of us together or any pictures on Christmas day. While this makes me sad, and disappointed in myself, I did take a few of our apartment all decorated. I had a few family and friends over for a homemade doughnut and hot cider party(which I plan to do every year) so here are some picture of us getting ready for that.

Ginas Birthday Cake

I decided to make Gina a birthday cake this year. I always wanted a barbie doll cake growing up, so in my desire to fulfill my childhood fantasies I made Gina be a part of that, and this is what came of it!! I had so much fun making it, even though it's not the most beautiful cake, it was so fun! Gina at least pretended that she liked it, thanks Gina for letting me have fun with you on your birthday.

Alaska

Here are some pictures we took while we were on our cruise to Alaska. This Glacier was incredible, we saw a lot of Seals just lounging on the ice chuncks floating next to us. It was so cold, but so beautiful. I had such peaceful, inspirational moments while just gazing at this Glacier. We have more pictures on our other camera, I will post them some other time.

The mighty record player

came home from work the other morning, and I walked in to find this!! I had a record player before we got married, but it was big and bolky with huge speakers, and it didn't work very well, so Don asked me to get rid of it and he would make it up to me....the rest is history. Let's just say he woke up to a surprise too!! Ha Ha Ha

Halloween

We had lots of fun carving our pumpkins. I had to work Halloween night so Don stayed home for the trick or treaters...oh wait we had no one come to our door!! It was awesome, so now I'll have to eat all the treats! P.S mine is the smaller pumpkin.

Step Aerobics

I have a gym pass at Golds Gym, as does my sister Gina. We decided to exercise together and go to some classes during the week. Well yesterday we went to a step aerobics class, we went early and warmed up on the bikes for 20 min, I was already sweating! We walked into the class and got our steps(the lowest step possible). It was a 60 min class and about 20 min into the class I wanted to leave, it was so hard, I was having a hard time keeping up with the instructor.I hung in until in ended and I was so tired, sweaty, and just spent. My legs felt like jello while walking down the stairs. I didn't realize I was in such terrible shape. Neeless to say I'm very sore today. We are doing it Wednesday and Friday again....the results will be worth it.

My purple shirt

I remember I bough this purple shirt at Target the summer I got home from my mission. I didn't really like it at the time, it kinda fit funny. I wore it here and there that summer and some in the winter. Then next spring I found it in my drawer and It became my favorite shirt. I wore it all summer with some jean shorts. It was so comfortable and I felt so good in it. Then one day in fall I was washing some work clothes with it and a pen was in my work shirt and it busted open and leaked ink all over my favorite purple shirt! I could never wear it again, as I had once worn it. I often think of that shirt and the memories I had in it. So long purple shirt, I finally threw it away! It's funny how I didn't really like it when first purchased, then it became my favorite clothing item in my closet.

I had a wonderful wedding, I can't even tell you how it felt inside the temple knowing that I was getting married in the right place! It was so beautiful inside. The sealing was so beautiful, and I loved seeing all of our family in there with us! It just felt so right and wonderful. We had great support from family and friends. It was the best day of my life!!

Hawks baseball

So I have never been a huge baseball fan...but we were invited to go to the Hawks game here in Boise a week ago. Don is a BIG fan of the Hawks- so I taged along. It was a cloudy day and had been sprinkling off and on. Anyway we got there and had awesome seats right behind home plate. I had some pants and a sweatshirt on over my shirt, and I was still cold. It then proceded to rain and I put my Poncho on... well Dons poncho! It was so fun I have to say that I had a blast! Rain and all. I rember asking Don when half time was, and I've never seen him laugh so hard in my life, then his freind said, "she didn't just ask when half time was did she, " Don said "she did" and they both laughed for a long time. I didn't know they didn't have a half time. They have a 7th strech. So I learned something new. I was thinking about what I could get Don for a wedding Present and I decided to get him season tickets to the Hawks baseball game this year and we got awesome seats behind home plate right next to our friends! HOrray! I love Don and I'm so excited to get married to him! 3 weeks to go!

Birthday

I had a wonderful birthday! I went to a movie with Gina earlier that day, Star Trek, one of my favorite movies ever! Then Don took me to the Starlight Mountain Theatre, we saw Joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat. It was so so fun! We had a wonderful night. The drive up there was fabulous, and beautiful. He bought me this Icecream cake from Dairy Queen, it was so so good.

It's been awhile. Today was fun we went out to Swan Falls and had a BBQ,It was a beautiful day! Don went with me to my babies grave, I put some of my favorite flowers down! It brought back some bitter sweet memories that are in my past now. When we got home we went swimming in our pool and it felt so nice! I love that we have a pool at our apartment.

This weekend on Saturday I went and got my hair cut with my sister Mandy, it was so fun, then she and I went and picked up Gina and all went home to Idaho Falls to see our mother, at grannies house! I had so much fun with my sisters. Mandy, Gina and I stayed in a hotel that night and played Scrabble and ate lots of food. Then next day was spent with Mom, Granny, and Aunt Julie. It was so nice being all together and seeing Mom and how well she is coming along after her hip surgery! I love my sisters so so much!

P.S Last soccer game went better and I did not push anyone!

Soccer Game

So I am on a indoor Soccer team, and we are NOT very good. We are use to losing each game, except we one our first game. Most teams have fun kicking our buts, but have good sportsmanship at least. Well Friday not so much! We show up and this team is in top shape, kicking the ball over there heads and all this fancy stuff, so we set our team up and decided to play hard and have fun. The game begins and a guy on there team falls to the ground after trying to kick the ball, and the Referee did not call anything and he gets hot, starts yelling all these things at us and the Ref. They were not nice at all. At one point the Goal Keeper comes out and plays on the field, the ball was coming toward me so I run up and start running toward the goal with it and right next to me is the Goal Keeper and he pushes me, so I pushed him back with my shoulder and passed the ball, I looked back at him and he is laughing, So I said, "look man I'm just here to have fun, no need to start that," then he said, "I'm laughing because you tried to push me." So I just forgot him and continued playing, maybe 5 min later I see our defense girl down there with this same guy and he pushed her to the floor and then why she was trying to get up he pushed her back down!! Our Keeper is her husband so he comes out and they are exchanging words, I started to walk back there and I cam up to the side of this guy and I pushed him really hard and told him to get off the field! Then the Ref noticed what was going on back there and the guy got kicked off the field. So to make a really bad game short, I pushed some guy I've never met before, because he was so rude and pushed my friend down! Soccer is usually fun but that was the worst game we have ever experienced! When I came off the field my team was laughing and giving me high fives for pushing him. I did feel bad for pushing him, but he made me so so mad. Next game has to be better!

Going to Church as a couple...

I love going to church with Don! I love the feeling of walking in holding hands into the chapel together, then sitting close and telling little jokes in each others ear and trying not to laugh! I'm so glad that I will have a Forever Family! I love DON!! I'm so excited to be married and enjoy all the blessings that will come to us as we are faithful and reach our goals together!

A mess

I have found that since being in a really good relationship and harley ever being home, my room has become a disaster! My clean clothes are folded on the floor, then If I don't know that they are clean I smell them to see if they smell funny if not I throw them on and off I go! (not really). I really need to clean my room. The other day I got a new mattress and Don and his Friend brought it over to me and I had to shove everything into the closet before they came so it would look half way decent. I was kind of a messy kid, but since have found joy in clean things. I spend to much time with Don, but I don't think that a messy room will stop me from seeing him everyday. Got a love it!

Indoor Soccer

I joined this indoor soccer club with a couple of co-workers and we formed a team. Don also plays on our team. We did it to just have fun and get a little exercise. Well our first game was last week on friday night, it was a blast. I had so much fun and remembered how fun it was when I played in High school. Our team won 5-2, so we were really excited. Last night was our second game and we knew we were going to be missing a couple that were out of town. I showed up and there is a rule that we have to have 2 girls on the field from each team and there was only 2 of us there. I went on to the field to warm up and on my very first kick at the ball I felt my hamstring muscle rip and I felt a stabbing pain in my thigh. I kinda shook it off and went to kick the ball again and it hurt so bad again. I went and sat down on the bench to kinda let it relax a little. Well like 3 min later the game was to start and we still only had 2 girls. I found myself out on the field in pain. I played defense at this time, and was useless to say the least. About 10 min into the game our other girl showed up and I was able to sit the rest of the game out, which really bit the big one because I really wanted to play. We lost this past game 8-2, it was hard on all of us. I drove myself home crying because it hurt so bad to just move the gas pedal up and down. I went home and took a bath to soak it a little then slathered it with Ice-hot ointment. Then went to bed around 9:30 which is so early for me but I felt exhausted. I had to work the next morning so I slept good then went to work and hobbled around and got my work done, now I have 3 days off and will just rest my muscle so I can kick a@# at our up coming game!

Life...

Life is moving along, trying to plan for a wedding is very time consuming! I have a lot of fun Ideas that I think will make it beautiful and unique. We found our new apt and Don is moving into it within the next two weeks, which makes me jealous because I want to live there to. We bought some nice furniture, it was almost a steal. Dark green sofa and loveseat that recline and are new for $300 dollars! yay! We also bought a new nice mattress pillowtop and that was a good deal to, so things are getting done. Phewww.. We need to find someone to take our engagement pictures so that is next on the list. Life is good and I'm glad mine is going so well right now!

Love Story

Don and I watched Princess Bride on Sunday night over at his apartment. This is the song that plays at the end. "My love is like a story book story." I was just listening to it here at work, and made me want to shout with joy for the happiness that is overflowing inside me. I didn't know life would end up like this, every time I turn something new is happening. I've learned so much in the years that are now past about love, family, relationships, and motherhood. I long so much for the opportunities that are awaiting me in the near future. I love Don so much and I feel so blessed to have someone who loves me and want's the same things as I do. I know that our family will be blessed becaue of the decisions we are making right now. This is kinda random post just want to tell everyone that I'm in love with a very good person, who treats me so good, and respects me and Loves Heavely Father and will be mine forever!

I'm now officially Engaged to Don Harris. He proposed Saturday night. It was a very good day for both of us, I can't even tell you how happy I am to be able to be with him forever. Earlier that day we went to Gold Fork Hot springs in Cascade ID, it was so fun, we stayed in those hot springs for about 2 hours. Then he took me to dinner and then we went to his apartment and that is when he proposed to me. My ring was in a box of chocoalate under this magnifying globe, and under it was a note that said will you marry me and I looked over at him and he was kneeling down. Then he said Holly will you marry me, and I said YES!!

He also had these flowers there for me with a sweet card. Mark your calenders for July 17, 2009 ... that is the tenative date for our wedding.

Old Navy

I went shopping the other night with Don at old navy, he needed some new pants and some shirts. The store was having incredible deals so I decided to go back today for me. I found such a deal. I found some long sleeve shirts for $.47cents!!!!!!!I know I got 3 of those then I got like 6 other shirts for only $3.99-$4.99. I had so much fun trying on my new shirts. You can't beat a deal when it isn't even a dollar at old navy! So thanks old navy for making my day and giving us such awesome deals so that we can continue to shop and not feel so guilty for spending lots of money!

I Just need to breath!

So I was so overwhelmed this morning when I was leaving work with co-workers, ex-boyfriends, inmates and Love,(no I'm not in love with an inmate) that I started to cry and I just wanted to some time to myself and learn how to breath again. Life has a way of going so fast that you can sometimes never catch up with it. My life was so upside down the past year and now it's almost too good to be true that it all just caught up with me.As I drove home I just started to cry and feel sorry for myself for a min then cry again because I'm so happy with my current relationship, but the I would cry again because I miss my sweet baby, I just keep going in an emotional rollercoaster that made me crazy. I'm so grateful for a wonderful sister that will listen and always love me for who I am. I'm so Grateful for Don and how he listens to me too and how I get so happy to just hear his voice that early in the morning and I remember that everything is going to be ok. So this is me taking a big deep breath and breathing with a knowledge that Life is going to be awesome!

My Saturday...

So I've been seeing Don more, I can call him Don instead of Mr.Harris. Things are going great and I couldn't be more happy with him and our growing relationship. Last Saturday I was leaving work at 7am, and I walked out to our Inmate Records area to leave and he was standing there with roses and some chocolate!! I was so excited to see him and have him do something so nice for me. After a little sleep that day, I went out with him that evening, we went and scouted out some camping sites for the scouts in his ward,He is the scout master, and then we were going to go to Givens Hot Springs. While scouting out camp spots, his car hit a rock on this dirt road and he started leaking Transmission Fluid! So we made our way to the main road and back into cell phone service areas and called his brother who had to come Tow/haul his car. Long story short, we never made it to Givens Hot springs. Some other time, I'm sure of it we will make it. It was a great night, I was able to meet his Mother and his Brothers family. We went and ate at Red Robin later that night, and just enjoyed our time together. I'm having so much fun with him I can hardley stand to be away from him, but the bills do call, and we both have to work!! More to come as this new relationship develops.....

My Blind Date!

Well last thursday I recieved a phone call from a random stranger who asked me out to dinner on saturday. He is a friend of someone I work with. So the day finally came, Sat night, I got all dressed up and waited for him to come pick me up. I was so nervous, I was getting sick. Finally I heard the Doorbell ring and walked slowly to answer it, and there he was... Mr. Harris. He was not what I expected, but he looked like he could be fun. So we went to Johnny Carinos and had a fabulous dinner, I had slept all day from working the previous night so i was so hungry, I ate my dinner so fast and waited while he finished. It was kinda funny, I was laughing at myself. After dinner we went to the movie Austraila(highly recommend this movie) after crying during the movie we finally ended the night, He drove me home and hugged me and said that he would love to see me again!!(good sign). So we set up a bowling date for monday night!
Sunday night:
I was a little bored sunday so I texted my new friend Mr.Harris and he came over and watched a movie with me and my roomate and her boyfriend. It was a good night, we held hands during the movie!
Monday night:
Monday night came and he came and picked me up to go bowling. I'm not big into bowling, but I went and had a lot of fun with him, I bowled and a 153 the first game then a 134 the next, I was pleased with myself! Then he drove me by his workshop, He builds cabniets, and we just talked all night tilll about 1am.
Tuesday evening: I went over to Mr.Harris house and watched the Biggest Loser with him! Our favorite show. I had so much fun with this guy, can't wait to see him again! Which will be Thursday evening! Wish me luck!
Mr.Harris is a good Mormon boy that is very respectful and polite and I'm so excited to get to know him better as time goes on!
I call him Mr.Harris because his first name is Don, and that's my dads name so I just call him Harris!! LOL

Victims who call the number are then asked to give sensitive account and personal information. This is known as "phishing" and you are advised NOT to respond to the text message or call the telephone number provided in the message.
Authorities believe Bank of the Cascades customers are the primary targets of this scam but are quick to point out the scam may also impact customers of other banks as well. Bank of the Cascades officials say they do not conduct business via text message. The bank's security division believes this scam originates outside the United States.

So it's been a while,
Lots has gone on...not really, just work and work and then I go to work again. Actually I did go snowboarding with my little sister gina last saturday which ended up being awesome. We had a lot of fun together!! We fell a lot and then fell some more. Anyway good times. I'm looking forward to better times and the strength it takes to heal something that hurts so much. Life brings unexpected turns, I love so many things in life I try not to let those feelings fade. Anyway my weekend will start in about 5 hours and then we shall see what comes of 3 days off!!
